Premier League players at Asian Cup 2024: A List
Premier League players at Asian Cup 2023: List of stars missing club games for 2024 tournament in Qatar
A little over a year on from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, major tournament international football is back in the Gulf state.
The 2023 AFC Asian Cup takes place between January 12 and February 10, 2024, with the hosts and holders defending the title they won in 2019. They are bidding to become the first team to win the trophy in consecutive editions since Japan went back-to-back in 2000 and 2004.
Unlike during the World Cup, when the Premier League shut down for six and a half weeks, England's top flight will continue during the event, meaning some clubs will be without key performers.
Even though the tournament runs alongside the Premier League's staggered winter break, clubs at both ends of the table will have to do without some of their best players for potentially pivotal fixtures, with the Fourth Round of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup semifinals also affected.
Here's a rundown of the eight players from the Premier League involved in Asian Cup action.
