Barcelona reveal the extent of Raphinha's injury after Osasuna win

Barcelona have finally given a confirmation of the injury Raphinha sustained against Osasuna after running the necessary tests.

The club stated in a statement: "Tests carried out on the first team player Raphinha have revealed that the he has an injury to his biceps femoris muscle in his left thigh. He is unavailable for selection and his recovery will dictate his return."

This basically confirms that the Brazilian winger will not be able to feature against Real Madrid in the Supercopa final at all.

Raphinha will be looking to work hard on recovering from this issue and possibly make himself available for the Copa del Rey Round of 16 clash against Unionistas next week.

Xavi will also need to change up his team for the upcoming El Clasico and it remains to be seen who plays instead of Raphinha.
