Mason Greenwood future will be resolved next summer, not in January
According to Fabrizio Romano via Football Transfers, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is not expected to decide Mason Greenwood's future in the next month.
The INEOS founder is reportedly holding internal discussions about Greenwood ahead of his 25% minority stake purchase in Manchester United.
Mason is currently on loan at Getafe, who are believed to be keen on turning his deal into a permanent one.
The Red Devils have so far been on the back foot about bringing Greenwood back. However, as per Romano, no concrete decision will be made in December or January.
Instead, fans can expect a resolution on his future only next summer. His performances at Getafe could also play a role in swaying Ratcliffe's mind.
At present, Greenwood has four goals and three assists to his name in 11 games across competitions.
