Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham Suffers Shoulder Injury in Rayo Draw
Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has suffered a shoulder injury, manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed.
The Englishman picked up the knock during the first half of Los Blancos' 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, but was able to play on for the remainder of the game.
Bellingham's shoulder was heavily strapped at half-time, and Ancelotti said after the match that the 20-year-old will undergo medical tests on Monday to assess the severity of the injury.
"Bellingham has a problem with his shoulder," Ancelotti said, as quoted by One Football. "He will undergo medical tests tomorrow. I hope he can play on Wednesday against Braga.
"I don't think it's going to be anything serious, but we have to wait for the results of the tests."
Bellingham has been in superb form for Real Madrid this season, scoring 13 goals and providing three assists in 14 appearances. He was one of the best players on the pitch in the draw against Rayo, despite failing to get on the scoresheet.
Real Madrid will be hoping that Bellingham's injury is not serious, as they face Braga in the Champions League on Wednesday.
