Real Madrid refusing to change 'transfer stance' despite injury crisis
Real Madrid are refusing to change their transfer stance not to sign any new players in January despite the injury crisis at the club, Jose Luis Diaz reports.
The club insists that a move to sign players in January will force a deviation from their idealogy of signing only world-class players or youngsters with immense potential as such players are rarely available in the winter market.
It's been a season of injuries at Real Madrid with 12 players already sidelined with one injury or the other. Nine of those players are still nursing injuries.
Real Madrid's plan is to sign players in the summer when there will be better market opportunities. For now, the club will keep trusting their squad and wait for the injured to recover.
Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti is expected to promote some youngsters from Castilla to beef up the depleted squad.
