Carlo Ancelotti Not Worried About Real Madrid Draw
Real Madrid failed to beat Rayo Vallecano at the Bernabeu on Sunday, but Carlo Ancelotti is not feeling particularly down. The Italian has pointed out to the Whites being the better team for the entirety of the game.
"We created many opportunities, but we lacked success [in the final third]. We are hurt by the result, but the match was good in my opinion," Ancelotti said post-match, as quoted by Marca.
"I'm not worried. We played with crosses, with vertical passes... We tried in every way, but it hasn't worked out. The important thing is to create it until the end and do it. We have tried until the last minute.
"We are hurt by the result, not by the performance. Sometimes you win a game that you don't deserve and sometimes you don't win a game that you deserve.
"In the table we are very good, we are in the fight, very good in the Champions League... There is no drama.
"There is confidence that we are going to do things well, like today, because we haven't done things wrong today."
Ancelotti's positive attitude is refreshing to see, and it will be interesting to see how Real Madrid respond to this setback in their next game.
