Bayern, Dortmund pull out of Chalobah race as defender's injury return postponed
Trevoh Chalobah remains sidelined with a hamstring injury initially reported in August. According to German reporter Florian Plettenberg, the defender will be back available at the end of January at the earliest.
It was previously expected that the Englishman would be back in November but this is no longer the case as he suffered 'another muscle bundle tear'.
Plettenberg adds that Bayern and Dortmund, who were previously interested in the 24-year-old's services, have moved on to other targets for the January window.
Romano adds that there is plenty of interest in Chalobah, both in the Premier League and abroad, so the situation remains open. He's very unlikely to stay at Chelsea.
