Arsenal receive Martin Odegaard injury update ahead of Brentford clash
"I've just come from a 45-minute talk with Martin [Odegaard]," Norway coach Stale Solbakken told a press conference, quoted by 90Min.
"He is getting better and better and gradually stepping up.
"It has been more or less three weeks without any special training, so it is important to take things step by step.
"Both he and Arsenal probably hope that he is available for the Brentford match."
Odegaard is not expected to feature for Norway until the international break is over. The Arsenal captain needs all the rest he can get to ensure he's ready to face Brentford.
The Bees won't make it easy for Arsenal to grab three much-needed points but Odegaard's return could make all the difference.
