For nearly a year, the football world witnessed a fierce battle for the signature of one of the biggest young talents in the world - Jude Bellingham. Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City were the primary contenders in the race.

Pep Guardiola even engaged in a three-hour talk with the midfielder, attempting to sway him to the Etihad, Cadena SER's Jesus Gallego reports.

However, Jude chose to follow his heart and joined Madrid. The move to Bernabeu has proven to be a win-win for Los Blancos and Jude himself.

Since donning the white jersey, the English international recorded a whopping ten goals and three assists in his first ten appearances for the club.
