Jadon Sancho ‘fuming’ with Erik ten Hag over ‘favouritism towards Man United teammate’
Jadon Sancho is reportedly fuming with Erik ten Hag over favouritism shown towards another Manchester United player.
Sancho’s future at United has been plunged into darkness after his public spat with Ten Hag.
Last month, the winger was left out of the United squad to play Arsenal as Ten Hag was not happy with Sancho’s performances in training.
Since then, the 23-year-old has released his own statement to reject the United manager’s claims.
It read: “Please don't believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.
“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I've been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair!
“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to the team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and I am grateful to do so, which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
Sancho has also reportedly refused to apologise and has now been ‘completely exiled’.
According to a new report by Football Transfers, Sancho has been left fuming with his treatment compared with Antony, who has been hit with controversies of his own.
The report claims: “The crux of the issue is that Antony gets picked no matter how badly he plays or how many mistakes he makes.
“No matter how many situations he screws up, he is favoured by Ten Hag.”
Speaking after United’s win over Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup last month, Ten Hag gave a brief update on Sancho.
He simply said: “That is up to him, I don’t speak about unavailable players.”
