Fans fume over 'shocking' Liverpool vs Everton coverage issues on Discovery+ app
Football fans have fumed over the coverage of the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton on the Discovery+ app.
The match at Anfield is being broadcast live by TNT Sports, but can also be viewed on the app for those users unable to watch at home.
Fans who subscribe to TNT Sports directly through discovery+ pay £29.99 per month, and the package includes Eurosport and entertainment channels.
But some fans have pointed out on X (Twitter) that their app has crashed on numerous occasions during the first half of Liverpool vs Everton - and are not impressed.
One wrote: "Good to see the Discovery Plus app ain't working again... Stream it is then. Absolutely shocking."
Another said: "Five times in 40 minutes the stream has gone down. This is laughable."
A third added: "Crashing every five minutes. Poor this."
A fourth exclaimed: "Come back BT Sport app - this new Discovery+ app is so unreliable."
Fans who have experienced issues have not missed any goals in the first half, however, with the scores at 0-0.
Everton will play the second 45 minutes with 10 players, however, after Ashley Young was shown a second yellow card on 37 minutes.
Mohamed Salah miscued an early opportunity to open the scoring for Jurgen Klopp's side, before Young produced a heroic block on Luis Diaz prior to his sending off to keep the scores level.
But the former England international's sending off will leave Sean Dyche's side with an uphill task in the second half.
A TNT Sports spokesperson has confirmed: “We are aware of an issue impacting some platforms and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.”
