All 20 stadiums in the Premier League have been ranked for atmosphere.
It is widely known that the Premier League has some of the loudest fans in world football.
England is home to some of the world’s most famous football stadiums, including the likes of Anfield, Old Trafford and the Emirates Stadium.
Now, in a recent study conducted by The Athletic, all 20 Premier League grounds have been ranked via their atmosphere.
Merseyside clubs Liverpool and Everton’s respective stadiums have come out joint top whilst Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park completes the top three.
Over the last few decades, many former players and managers have praised the atmosphere inside Anfield as one of the best in world football.
Legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson once said: “Anfield. Electric.
“It’s a marvellous atmosphere. You have to expect that atmosphere even if you’re losing.”
Former Arsenal man Patrick Vieira said: “Liverpool for me is the best atmosphere that I’ve ever experienced in my life.
“You know, when they start singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, they make it really special for the players, but that creates a bubble, creates a togetherness between fans and players.”
