Xavi names one player he 'personifies' Celta comeback in, not Lewandowski or Cancelo

"If we have to personify the comeback in someone, it would be Gavi," Xavi told the media after Barca's thrilling 3-2 win against Celta Vigo in La Liga in 2023.

"But this was a team effort. The [Celta] goal in the 80th minute [it was actually in the 76th] was a hammer blow – normally Barca don't come back from that," he added.

Gavi, who was introduced into the game after Frenkie de Jong got injured, turned out to be one of the best players in the second half against Celta. The 19-year-old wrapped up his inspiring performance with a fabulous assist for Joao Cancelo in the final minutes, helping Barcelona secure a victory after falling 2-0 behind.
