Viewers in disbelief as Liverpool forward Luis Diaz has goal ruled out against Spurs
Liverpool forward Luis Díaz had a goal chalked off by VAR during their Premier League clash against Spurs, but replays appear to show he was onside.
The Colombian thought he'd put Jurgen Klopp's side ahead in the 33rd minute of Saturday evening's game in North London when he
But the assistant raised his flag almost immediately and the goal was ruled out – a decision that was questioned by many following Sky Sports' replay of the incident.
As you can see from the footage below, it appears Spurs defender Cristian Romero was playing Diaz on with his foot.
Andy Gray and Richard Keys reviewed the incident on bEIN Sports at half-time. "He's at least a metre onside," Gray says. "It's not even close."
