Rasmus Hojlund has dream goal on full Man Utd debut brutally ruled out by VAR
Rasmus Hojlund thought he'd scored his first goal for Manchester United on his full debut for the club against Brighton - only to see it cruelly ruled out by VAR.
Hojlund, 20, joined United in a £72m move from Atalanta earlier this summer but had to bide his time to make his first appearance for the club after arriving injured.
He eventually made his debut against Arsenal prior to the international break, coming off the bench as United were beaten 3-1 at the Emirates.
Hojlund was handed his full debut on Saturday for the visit of Brighton to Old Trafford.
But things didn't go to plan in the first half for Erik ten Hag's side, who found themselves trailing when former United striker Danny Welbeck finished off a neat move midway through the half.
