Mykhailo Mudryk told to 'tone gym work down' amid concerns he's overdoing it
The Ukrainian is yet to become a key player at Chelsea.
It's not working out ideally for Mykhailo Mudryk at Chelsea - but not for the lack of trying.
"He will be in the gym at the training ground before and after normal drills. He loves it," a source told The Athletic about Mudryk.
"He will do what Chelsea ask him to do training-wise, but will always find the time for extra gym work. Players notice he is committed. He wants to be better. People need to leave him alone. He is a nice lad."
However, there are concerns over how much Mudryk works out away from the training ground. In fact, Chelsea have already told him to tone the gym work down.
There's a lot of desire from the club side to make a success out of Mudryk's ₤62m transfer - but it will require a lot of improvement in his performances.
