Liverpool fans think they’ve finally replaced Steven Gerrard as Dominik Szoboszlai compilation emerges
Liverpool fans think they have finally replaced Steven Gerrard after seeing Dominik Szoboszlai’s stunning highlights.
On Sunday afternoon, Jurgen Klopp’s men hosted David Moyes’ West Ham United at Anfield.
Liverpool produced a brilliant display as they came out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota. Jarrod Bowen was the scorer for the Hammers.
After the match, a stunning compilation of Szoboszlai’s highlights emerged, which has got Liverpool fans very excited.
Since signing the Hungarian for a reported fee of £60 million this summer, Szoboszlai has made a brilliant start to life as a Liverpool player.
Against West Ham, Szoboszlai produced yet another all-action display in the middle of the park.
The 22-year-old had a passing completion rate of 93%, created four chances and made 10 passes into the final third.
In addition, he won three ground duels whilst also making nine ball recoveries.

This performance has led to Liverpool fans thinking they have finally replaced club legend Gerrard.
One fan said: “The Steven Gerrard regen we have all been waiting for is here!!!! Dominik Szoboszlai.”

Speaking to the club’s official website last week, Szoboszlai spoke about joining Liverpool.
He said: “I worked a lot to become a player of Liverpool. It was a dream. I think for every football player it's a dream to play for Liverpool, it's one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“And also the fans, the club, the history and that you can play with these legends and players that I'm playing with, it's a pleasure to be here. Just the fans, just the stadium, just the team, just the history of the club – everything.”
Szoboszlai added: “I want to achieve a lot of things this year and not only this [year] but the next couple of years as well.”
