Erik ten Hag reveals why Sancho wasn't selected for Arsenal clash - he isn't injured
Erik ten Hag opened up on why he decided to not pick Jadon Sancho in Man United’s squad in their loss to Arsenal.
He confirmed that the Englishman isn’t injured and said: “On his performance on training we didn't select him. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United.
“You can make choices in the front line, so in this game he wasn't selected.”
This is a really worrying sign for Sancho, who appears to have let his performance levels drop att he start of the season.
It might be a case of déjà vu for the Englishman, who was dropped from the squad after the first weeks last season and forced to spend a long time in ‘exile’, where he trained alone in the Netherlands before being readapted to the Man United squad.
