A compilation of Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez's performance in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Liverpool has gone viral.

The Argentinian started in a deeper midfield role for the Blues, effectively marshalling Mauricio Pochettino's side amid the absence of key players.

Fernandez joined Chelsea from Benfica for a British record transfer fee of £106.8 million in January after a successful World Cup campaign with Argentina.

And while the Blues struggled on the whole, the 21-year-old hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge with a series of impressive displays.

Against Liverpool, Fernandez kicked off his side on the right footing with another excellent performance, and was duly named player of the match by Sky Sports co-commentator Gary Neville at the conclusion of the 1-1 draw.
