UEFA release ranking of top 10 players in Europe last season, Vinicius ignored
UEFA have unveiled their list of the best 10 players in Europe last season for club and country.
The top three are Lionel Messi, Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland both of Manchester City. The trio are in the running to be named UEFA Best Player on August 31.
Vinicius Jr. does not make the top 10 list, according to the list released by UEFA. Here are the other seven players based on voting as UEFA says:
4. İlkay Gündogan (Germany & Barcelona – 129 points)
5. Rodri (Spain & Manchester City) – 110 points
6. Kylian Mbappé (France & Paris) – 82 points
7. Luka Modrić (Croatia & Real Madrid) – 33 points
8. Marcelo Brozović (Croatia & Al Nassr) – 20 points
9. Declan Rice (England Arsenal) – 14 points
10. Alexis Mac Allister (Argentina & Liverpool) – 12 points
It's laughable that Vini doesn't make this list. Last season Vini played 55 games for Real Madrid scoring 23 goals and registering 21 assists.
In the Champions League against Vini scored seven goals and 5 assists in 12 games helping Real Madrid reach the semi-final. UEFA needs to check again.
