The Athletic: Mbappe 'closer than before' to signing new PSG contract
PSG are now believing that Kylian Mbappe will sign a new contract with them after opting to stay with them this summer, claims The Athletic’s Mario Cortegana.
They feel that the French forward is now closer to signing a new contract with them than he was back in the 2021/22 season, when a similar contract standoff situation occurred.
Mbappe might’ve communicated to the Ligue 1 side of his possible openness to agreeing a new deal with them.
Despite having recently contract renewal offers shot down, the Parisians believe that they could get him to agree on a new deal later this season.
