'Sometimes I don't get any support': Robert Lewandowski Calls for More Attacking Football at Barcelona

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has called for the team to play more attacking football after a recent run of results that have seen them struggle to create chances.

"We are Barcelona and we are supposed to not only win, but also to play attacking football. That hasn't been the case lately, so we have been working to create more chances in games," Robert Lewandowski has told the media.

"Sometimes we don't play with enough attacking players, I don't get any support... so I look for the best solution for the team.

"When we see Ferran or Ansu on the pitch, two players who both think and attack, we see more chances," the Pole added.

Is this a dig at Xavi's four-midfielder formation that means playing with only two forwards?

Against Cadiz, Barca only managed to break the deadlock when Xavi put more attackers on the pitch. Against Villarreal, his team managed to get the three points after Ferran Torres came on.

At the same time, Blaugrana could've scored even more goals against Villarreal, but both Robert Lewandowski and Ansu Fati were wasteful in front of goal.
