Real Madrid Target Alphonso Davies and Reece James for 2024
Alphonso Davies' current deal with Bayern Munich expires in 2025, so he could be available at a relatively low cost next summer. What's important, he is said to be slowing down his contract talks with the Bundesliga champions.
Things could be more difficult with Reece James whose contract with Chelsea expires only in 2028. Besides, he has just become the Blues' captain.
Anyway, Real Madrid have saved a lot of money over the past few years. If they sign Kylian Mbappe as a free agent next year, they will still be able to sign superstars like Davies and James.
Both Davies and James are versatile players who can operate on either flank. They are also both excellent defenders and have a lot of attacking potential.
If Madrid are able to sign both players, it would be a major coup for the club. They would have two of the best young wing-backs in the world at their disposal, and it would help them to challenge for major trophies in the years to come.
