Premier League Table After Week 3: Man City, United, and Chelsea Secure Wins

In the new Premier League season, Manchester City is the only team that has not lost any points yet. They have won all three of their starting matches, with their most recent victory being against Sheffield United. At this point, four teams, including Burnley and Everton, have not earned a single point.

During the third week of Premier League matches, some exciting results emerged. Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool all won their games in thrilling ways.

Currently, Manchester City is the only team that has not lost any points after three matches. The reigning champions have begun the new season perfectly. They defeated Sheffield United 2-1 on Sunday, August 27.

According to The Guardian, Erling Haaland scored the first goal for City in the 63rd minute, but Jayden Bogle equalized for Sheffield United in the 85th minute. Nevertheless, Rodri secured the winning goal with only two minutes remaining, earning the Citizens the maximum points even on an away game.

Manchester City's impressive performance puts them at the top of the standings with nine points.

West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, and Arsenal each have seven points.

Arsenal had an opportunity to take the top position on Saturday but missed it due to a 2-2 draw.

In the meantime, the other three teams achieved victories in their respective matches this weekend. Liverpool dramatically silenced Newcastle at St James' Park.

On another note, Manchester United is in the ninth position with six points from three matches. They had previously lost 2-0 to Tottenham but returned to winning ways on Saturday against Nottingham Forest.

According to BBC Sport, Erik ten Hag's team managed to overturn a two-goal deficit to defeat Nottingham Forest 3-2 at Old Trafford during an intense Premier League clash. Bruno Fernandes played a crucial role in the victory by scoring the winning goal from a penalty kick.

Meanwhile, Burnley led by Vincent Kompany, Luton Town, and Everton currently occupy the three relegation spots.

All three teams have yet to earn any points in this season so far.
