Nottingham Forest have signed promising Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos on loan from Chelsea for the 2023-24 season.
The 19-year-old has been a standout performer at the U20 South American Championship, helping Brazil win the title. He also impressed during his time at Chelsea, making a number of appearances for the first team in pre-season.
Santos is a versatile midfielder who can play in a number of positions. He is known for his passing, dribbling, and tackling skills.
Forest manager Steve Cooper is delighted to have signed Santos. He said: "Andrey is a very talented young player who has a lot of potential. He is a good fit for our style of play and I am confident that he will develop into a top player here at Nottingham Forest."
Santos could make his debut for Forest this weekend when they take on Manchester United in the Premier League.
