Manchester United's player Antony is facing new allegations of domestic violence from his ex-wife, Gabriela Cavallin.

These accusations follow similar claims made by Cavallin in Brazil back in June. The Brazilian publication UOL reports that Gabriela Cavallin, a well-known DJ and influencer who has since separated from the footballer, is preparing to file a police report against Antony in England, where he currently resides.

Allegedly, Cavallin experienced aggression and threats while living in Manchester with Antony. UOL states that they have reviewed a 70-page document presented by Cavallin's representatives, which contains evidence of alleged abusive behavior and aggression directed at the DJ.

Cavallin's lawyer, Vanessa Souza, cited in the Brazilian report, suggests that Antony could potentially face three distinct charges in England: sending threatening messages, confining her to their house, and committing acts of domestic violence resulting in injuries, including the displacement of her breast prosthesis and damage to her fingers.

Vanessa Souza stated, "The sending of threatening messages, the fact that he locked her in the house and domestic violence - with the displacement of the breast prosthesis and the injury to the fingers - are actions classified as three different crimes in England."

She further explained, "I was contacted by Gabriela's lawyers in Brazil to represent her interests with the Crown Prosecutor Service (England prosecutors) and the Manchester Police. I initiated contact with Antony's legal team, and they responded with surprise. They have been respectful towards these British authorities and are treating the matter with great seriousness."

Cavallin claims that she continues to experience sleep disturbances due to the alleged behavior of the footballer. Antony is still under investigation in Brazil for these allegations.

In June, Antony spoke out for the first time since Cavallin accused him of domestic violence and threats. Cavallin initially filed a police report in Brazil during that same month, alleging domestic violence, threats, and bodily injury by the winger. She further elaborated on the alleged abuse in a television interview on Record TV, recounting how Antony physically assaulted her.

Antony responded through an Instagram post, stating that he was "falsely accused" and had been "suffering in silence" as investigations continued. He expressed confidence that his innocence would be proven once the investigation concluded.

Manchester United, who acquired Antony from Dutch club Ajax for £87 million last year, had previously declined to comment on the allegations but was understood to be looking into the matter.

During her interview with Record TV, Cavallin detailed the abuse she claimed to have suffered in Brazil. She reported incidents of physical violence, including water being thrown at her, kicking, hair-pulling, and head-butting, which led to injuries. Additionally, she alleged that Antony confined her to their home, breaking her belongings and preventing her from leaving.

In the interview, Cavallin explained, "He broke my suitcase, took my handbag, my passport. He broke my mobile phone, he wouldn't let me go... I was a prisoner from 10 pm to almost 3:30 am. I call it private captivity. I just wanted to get out of there, and he told me that I wouldn't leave until I erased everything. I think his mother called his physiotherapist and asked for help. No one could control it."
