Lionel Messi 10 Goals and Records As Inter Miami win League cup.

Lionel Messi put on a historic performance in the 2022-23 Leagues Cup, scoring a record 10 goals in just 7 matches. The Argentine superstar also won the Golden Ball (MVP) and Golden Boot awards, and helped his team, Inter Miami, win the championship.

Messi scored in every game of the tournament, including including the final as the team went into a Pk shootout to left the league cup. 

With his 10 goals, Messi broke the previous record of 8 goals, set by Carlos Vela in 2019. He also became the first player to win the Golden Ball and Golden Boot in the Leagues Cup.
