Joan Laporta willing to pay €30m 'out of pocket' to help Barca register players
Joan Laporta will collaborate with club treasurer Ferran Olive to pay €30m out of their own pocket to help guarantee that Barcelona are able to register new players before the transfer window ends on Friday, per Diario Sport.
This scenario will only happen if the €40m expected from German investment fund, Brigeburg, fails to arrive on time before the transfer window shuts.
The company purchased 9.8% of Barca Studio in August for €60m, but have only paid €20m so far.
Barcelona are working round the clock to complete the signing of Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix before Friday.
As of today, the only hold up of the deal happening is Barca's financial limitations with FFP. With Laporta's 'help' that will no longer be an issue.
