Ex Cristiano Ronaldo teammate at Real Madrid paid €5k to remove ex from TV show
A former Cristiano Ronaldo teammate and ex Real Madrid player has won several accolades with Los Blancos but is now more famous for his bitter break-up with an ex.
30-year-old Jese Rodriguez was once deemed to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, however, things have taken a turn for the worse for both his personal as well as professional life.
The Spaniard's time at Real Madrid saw him lift the UEFA Champions League twice, one La Liga title, Copa del Rey as well as a FIFA Club World Cup win.
Unfortunately for him, the former PSG forward's celebrity status off the pitch and events in his personal life have now overshadowed his achievements on the pitch.
Rodriguez's relationship with his wife, Aurah Ruiz has featured a lot more in the headlines, due to their ongoing saga.
The pair had a child together back in 2017, which followed a split between the two just months later. The Spanish model took the former Madrid star to court at the time, accusing him of being a poor father and neglecting his duties.
Rodriguez responded to the accusations with a counter-suit of his own, accusing Ruiz of slander.
This bitter spat between the two took an ugly turn when Ruiz entered Spain's own version of the reality show, Big Brother.
Rodriguez responded to her move by splashing €5,000 on voting expenses to get Ruiz eliminated from the reality show.
His efforts paid off eventually, with Ruiz succumbing to the public vote, and bizarrely, the couple reconciled soon after.

The pair have now bridged the gaps in their relationship, though Ruiz publicly denied any speculation that she tried to run over Rodriguez, and they have now both officially married.
The 30-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Serie A side Sampdoria and has since been released.
