Eden Hazard Was Spotted at Stamford Bridge Ahead of Chelsea vs Liverpool – Fans Abuzz with Speculation
Eden Hazard will be sat in the stands when Chelsea take on Liverpool in their Premier League opener.
The 32-year-old winger, who joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2019 for a record £88.5 million, struggled to pin down a regular first-team spot at the Bernabeu.
In fact, after being restricted to just 54 league appearances across an injury plagued four-year spell, his contract at Los Blancos was terminated at the end of June.
Hazard is now a free agent and with speculation surrounding his future rife, he was spotted by a fan at Stamford Bridge ahead of Chelsea's first game of the Premier League season against Liverpool.
Twitter user Philip Wohltorf posted a picture alongside Hazard with the caption: "#Edenhazard spotted at Stamford Bridge before the game against Liverpool."
Here's how fans reacted to Hazard's appearance at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
One said: "Perfectly sums their career. Salah on the pitch cooking while he watches from the stands," while another commented: "The best Premier League player in the last decade has arrived."
A third wrote: "Him and Juan Mata are both free agents. It’s time to return."
A fourth added: "Eden Hazard, forever turning up against Liverpool."

There has been speculation over whether Hazard will hang up his boots this summer following a string of injuries.
That being said, the former Chelsea man recently hit out at the "nonsense" regarding his future, claiming his body is still capable of playing at the highest level.
