De Bruyne nicknames Man United player Premier League's 'creative machine'

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has named Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes as one of the most creative footballers in the world.

"Why Bruno Fernandes in 1st? He's a creative machine. He takes a lot of risks and I like that. He does very well," De Bruyne told Sky Sports.

"Being creative has a lot of different things around it, like creative chances but sometimes you can give the ball to somebody and they shoot it from 30 metres, it's always different, but he is always there."

Fernandes has been in outstanding form since joining United from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020. In 126 appearances in the Premier League, he has scored 44 goals and assisted teammates on 33 occasions.

De Bruyne's comments are a huge compliment to Fernandes, who is considered to be one of the best attacking midfielders in the world. The Portuguese international is known for his creativity, vision, and passing ability. He is also a prolific goalscorer, with a knack for scoring important goals.

Fernandes' form has dipped slightly this season, but he remains a key player for United. The 27-year-old is expected to be back to his best soon, and he will be hoping to help United challenge for the Premier League title in the coming years.
