'Classless': Arsenal accused of lack of sportsmanship over one episode in Fulham draw

Arsenal are the ones to consider themselves unlucky after getting only a draw from the Fulham game on Saturday but some Cottagers fans think otherwise.

They insist Eddie Nketiah's goal should not have stood as they believe that Saka fouled Bassey in the build-up. The defender fell to the floor after coming in contact with the Gunners' forward, Arsenal continued playing and Eddie finished the move after a brilliant Vieira pass.

Fulham fans on a social media site formerly known as Twitter insist that Arsenal should have stopped playing.

Oliver Wilson: "So MOTD just gloss over the fact Bassey was down injured for Arsenal’s second goal?? not only that it looked like a foul on him??"

De17Bruyne: "Arsenal foul bassey and injure him, ref doesn't call the foul, arsenal keep playing and score while he's down injured. Hate these classless teams"

Ryan Evans: "That is some dirty playing BS from Arsenal. Bassey down and hurt and they don’t stop play."

Annie Eaves: "That Saka on Bassey thing before Arsenal’s second, which would have ruled the goal out, is more contentious than the Rashford penalty. And yet."
