Chelsea to face Brighton in Carabao Cup third round

Chelsea are facing Brighton in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

The game will take place at Stamford Bridge in the week commencing September 25.

In the previous round, the Blues defeated AFC Wimbledon 2-1.

Chelsea made many changes to their starting IX that faced Wimbledon, with most key players coming on as substitute.

Unlike Chelsea, Brighton did not compete in the second round as they qualified for the Europa League.
