Alba makes Inter Miami debut & joins former Barca teammates Messi and Busquets

Jordi Alba made his Inter Miami debut on Wednesday night, coming on as a substitute in the second half of the Herons' Leagues Cup match against Orlando City.

The 34-year-old Spanish left-back was presented to fans at DRV PNK Stadium prior to kick-off, and he came on in the 64th minute with Inter Miami leading 2-1.

Alba's first pass of the game was to his former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi, and Miami added a third goal in the 72nd minute to seal a 3-1 victory.

Alba and Messi played together at Barcelona for nine years, winning eight La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues. They are now reunited at Inter Miami, and they will be hoping to lead the club to its first MLS Cup title.
