Napoli president: We will see Victor Osimhen wearing our shirt next season, but we're open to offers
Napoli President De Laurentiis: Osimhen to Stay Unless Offered 'More Than Indecent' Offer
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has reiterated his stance that Victor Osimhen will remain at the club next season, but has hinted that the club would be willing to sell if they receive an offer that they deem to be "more than indecent."
Osimhen has been linked with a move away from Napoli this summer, with clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich all said to be interested in the Nigerian striker. However, De Laurentiis has made it clear that he is not willing to sell Osimhen unless he receives an offer that he deems to be fair.
"We will see Victor Osimhen wearing our shirt next season, that's for sure," De Laurentiis said in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. "Then, if a more than indecent proposal arrives, we will move on and find another top talent as we did with Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen."
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is a Georgian winger who joined Napoli from Rubin Kazan this summer. The 21-year-old is seen as a potential replacement for Osimhen if he were to leave the club.
Osimhen has been a key player for Napoli since joining the club from Lille in 2020. The 23-year-old has scored 48 goals in 70 appearances for the Partenopei, and he was named the Serie A Capocannoniere last season.
De Laurentiis is confident that Napoli can find a replacement for Osimhen if he were to leave the club. However, he is also keen to keep the Nigerian striker at the club, and he is hoping that he will be able to convince Osimhen to stay.
