Mason Mount praised for refusing to sign Man Utd shirts after being harassed by 'fans'

Mason Mount has been praised for refusing to sign a number of Man Utd shirts after being harassed by so called ‘fans’ begging him.

A clip of the moment was uploaded online with Mount, who signed from Chelsea for £55 million this summer, become frustrated at the ‘same people’ coming up to him wanting his signature on merchandise

Those so called fans are in a group, and walk alongside Mount while holding shirts for him to sign, in reportedly a car park in night conditions.

Mount can be heard saying:

“You know I ain’t signing it, sorry lads.”

Those who waited for him get disappointed by his refusal, telling Mount “ah come on! Go on Bruv, come on Bruv, just a squad shirt for us!”

But clearly they ain’t backing down, even after Mount’s pleas.

Mount replies:

“I haven’t signed for the last three days so I don’t know why you lot keep coming back”.

He appeared in the No.7 shirt when making his debut for the club in a 2-0 pre-season friendly victory against rivals Leeds United out in Oslo in midweek.

Prior to kickoff, Erik ten Hag said via MUTV: “I am sure he will contribute to the success of Manchester United because he is a quality player.

“In midfield you have to attack but you also have to defend. He will bring dynamic into our game. We need more dynamic in that midfield department.”

Mason Mount added after the game against Leeds that he determined to deliver for Manchester United supporters.

He started the Reds’ opening pre-season friendly and quickly got involved in the team’s best creative moments during his 45-minute run-out.
