Marcus Rashford parks his brand new £700,000 Rolls-Royce on double yellow lines in Cheshire
Marcus Rashford left his £700k motor on double yellow lines for a trip to a jewellery shop.
The Manchester United and England ace, 25, was seen climbing out of his Rolls Royce Wraith before a private 20-minute browse. He was joined by team-mate Tyrell Malacia, 23, at the jeweller’s in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Rashford donned a green tracksuit for the quick trip.
The pair also stopped to sign autographs, including one youngster who was wearing a Rashford shirt. However, when it came to the shopping trip - that remained private. And the shutters of the jewellers remained down as the pair browsed the jewellery inside the store.
United's pre-season preparations are already well underway, and Rashford was snapped alongside the likes of Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes at Carrington.
However, the Red Devils' good start to pre-season, with a 2-0 win over Leeds United in Norway, was thrown into chaos after Harry Maguire was relieved of his capacity.
Maguire took to social media to announce Erik ten Hag had stripped him of the captaincy. United have yet to announce a new captain for the new season.
"Give Rashford the captain armband he's more qualified than Bruno," one fan tweeted. And a second added: "Rashford is a youth player and probably our best forward. Why shouldn't he be captain?"
"Who was the last captain from Wythenshawe? The rest are better choices but Rashford as captain would be class," a third said. And another added: "An academy graduate would do well. Make Rashford Captain with McTominay vice!"
