Kessie to miss Barcelona US tour amid Saudi interest

Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie will not be part of the team's upcoming tour of the United States. The Ivorian international has been offered a lucrative deal by a Saudi Arabian club, and Barcelona are reportedly open to selling him for €20 million.

Kessie joined Barcelona on a free transfer from AC Milan last summer, but he has struggled to find a regular place in the starting lineup. The 26-year-old has made 43 appearances for the Catalan club, but he has only started 18 of those games.

The Saudi Arabian club that is interested in Kessie is Al Nassr. The Riyadh-based club is owned by the Saudi Arabian government, and they are known for their lavish spending on players. Al Nassr recently signed Carlos Vela from Los Angeles FC for a reported €7 million, and they are also interested in signing Lionel Messi.

Kessie is said to be interested in continuing his career in Europe, but he would be open to a move to Saudi Arabia if the offer is right. Chelsea are also interested in Kessie, and they could make a move for him if he does not decide to join Al Nassr.
