Brutal Chelsea fans already release 'Mason Mount fail video' from Man Utd debut
Mason Mount's Manchester United career is up and running following the club's pre-season clash with Leeds, and Chelsea fans, it's fair to say, were less than impressed with his performance
Chelsea fans are so keen to prove they don't care about Mason Mount anymore that a 'fail' compilation from footage of his Manchester United debut hit the internet before the match had even finished.
The Red Devils kicked off their pre-season campaign with a 2-0 win over Leeds United in Oslo, Norway. Mount started the match in the No. 10 role, but was hooked at half-time along with the rest of the starting XI.
He failed to make any sort of significant impact on the proceedings and Blues supporters, still resentful over his £60m departure earlier this month, couldn't resist stitching together clips of his shoddy cameo to make a 'why were we ever angry about him leaving' montage.
In the video - which has since been removed from social media due to copyright breaches - Mount overhit corners and free-kicks, misplaced passes and spurned a glorious one-on-one chance by scuffing his shot into the ground, prompting plenty of gleeful gloating from Chelsea circles on social media, despite the fact he very nearly scored a gorgeous 20-yard lob.
"There's already a Mason Mount fail comp I'm in tears haha," one supporter tweeted. Another said: "They literally paid £60m for this fraud."
A third wrote: "Mount is just as bad in a Man Utd shirt as he was for us last year I see."
Others, however, ridiculed Blues fans for the videos, accusing them of being "obsessed" with their former star. One tweeted: "Chelsea fans obsession with Mount is crazy. He's really that big and important to y'all."

Another commented: "Watching a rivals' first pre-season friendly at 4pm to create a disasterclass comp of a player who used to play for your club is incredibly jobless behaviour."
"Chelsea fans are so cringe man. Funny thing is he didn’t even play badly. Such an odd fanbase," another said.
Mount will get the chance to make amends in a week's time when United face Lyon in Edinburgh. After that Erik ten Hag's squad will fly to the US where four more pre-season fixtures await against Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Dortmund.
