Bayern Munich to Make Second Bid for Tottenham Striker Harry Kane
As per Daily Mail, Bayern Munich will make a second bid for Harry Kane this week and hope an offer of £80m plus add-ons is enough to sway Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Kane has a year left on his current contract and Spurs risk losing him for free in 2024, but they were unmoved by Bayern’s initial offer of £60m plus add-ons. An increased bid could tempt Spurs to sell, however, with the club eager to avoid the prospect of Kane joining a Premier League rival – a stance that has seen Manchester United seemingly end their interest in the England captain.
The Mail adds: “Such a move for Kane, at 29, has not met approval from Bayern's president Uli Hoeness who believes the England striker is too expensive.
“Bayern will assess the cost of bringing in Kane then set about selling players such as former Manchester United loanee Marcel Sabitzer before bringing in further additions.”
The German club's manager Thomas Tuchel, has been a long time admirer of the English striker who has been on the books of several top european clubs.
