Arsenal handed major Mohammed Kudus transfer advantage with £35m Chelsea bid
Arsenal are reportedly set to benefit from Chelsea's £35m bid for Crystal Palace star Michael Olise, as it could pave the way for the Gunners to sign Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus.
Both clubs are interested in the 22-year-old Kudus, who is seen as a versatile attacking option who could play in a number of positions.
Chelsea's move for Olise suggests that they are not willing to spend big on Kudus, which could leave Arsenal in pole position to sign the Ghanaian.
Arsenal have been tracking Kudus for some time, and they are believed to be willing to offer around £25m for the player.
If they are able to agree a deal with Ajax, Kudus would be a welcome addition to Mikel Arteta's squad. He is a talented player who has the potential to make a big impact in the Premier League.
The Gunners are also interested in signing another attacking midfielder this summer, and Kudus would be a good fit for their style of play. He is a creative player who is also capable of scoring goals, and he would add some much-needed depth to Arteta's squad.
While there is no guarantee that Arsenal will be able to sign Kudus, Chelsea's move for Olise has certainly given them a boost in their pursuit of the player.
