Manchester United have agreed on a transfer fee of £47.2 million for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to reports including from the BBC.
The payment structure will see the Red Devils pay £43.8m up front for the Cameroon international, with an additional £3.4m in potential add-ons.
United boss Erik ten Hag, who previously worked with Onana during their time at Ajax, initially pursued the goalkeeper as an addition to United's squad rather than a replacement, however United's decision to pursue Onana reportedly led current first-choice goalkeeper David de Gea to turn down a new contract offer at the club.

Onana spent seven-and-a-half years at Ajax, winning the Eredivisie three times and finishing as runner-up in the UEFA Europa League.
