Man City fans' wild celebrations went deep into their greatest night ever
There'll be a few sore heads in Istanbul today with Manchester City's Champions League and Treble celebrations lasting long into the night on the streets of the city
Manchester City fans celebrated through the night in Istanbul after their Champions League triumph.
Thousands of City supporters who had travelled to Turkey lined the streets and partied into the early hours after seeing their side complete their historic Treble by beating Inter Milan 1-0 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
Rodri's second half strike was all that separated the two sides, with Ederson denying Simone Inzaghi's side on a number of occasions to maintain the lead. Captain Ilkay Gundogan lifting their third trophy of the season was just the start of the celebrations.
Many of those who had been fortunate enough to witness the victory in the flesh filed out of the stadium and to the city centre, joining others who had been watching on at bars.
Included amongst them was boxing legend and City super fan Ricky Hatton, who filmed himself punching the air in the crowd and was seen walking around topless.
The victorious players, meanwhile, were having their own party with their friends and families. Jack Grealish was of course right in the mix, with Erling Haaland seen puffing on a giant cigar.
Back in Manchester, there were equally jubilant scenes in the fan zones which had hosted screenings of the match. Some supporters also partied outside the Etihad.
They'll be able to see their history-makers when a trophy parade is held on Monday (June 12). It will start at Tonman Street, Deansgate, at 6.30pm, before travelling through St Mary's Gate, Cross Street, King Street and then finishing on the corner of Princess Street and Portland Street.
The squad are expected to arrive in Oxford Street at roughly 7.30pm, where a stage show will take place.
