Kalvin Phillips leads Man City fans in 'f***ing hates United' chant
Kalvin Phillips couldn't help but swear live on stage during Manchester City's Treble parade as he serenaded John Stones alongside thousands of fans
Kalvin Phillips led thousands of Manchester City fans in serenading John Stones during their Treble parade - and didn't cut out the swearing.
The England international was handed the microphone by presenter Natalie Pike and he immediately started singing for the defender turned midfielder - with the famous chant than includes his view on rivals Manchester United.
He sang: "Johnny, Johnny Stones, Johnny, Johnny Stones. Johnny, Johnny Stones, Johnny, Johnny Stones - he gets the Blues excited, he f***ing hates United."
Phillips' time on the microphone was then brought to an end, with Jack Grealish mumbling to fans before they left the stage to huge applause.
The trophy parade was put at risk by adverse weather conditions having been delayed 30 minutes with fans getting soaked by torrential rain throughout.
The official live stream on City's YouTube account was also not able to show footage of the players on the bus on the way to the stage.
They did catch up with Pep Guardiola and Ilkay Gundogan as the parade came to an end on the corner of Princess Street and Portland Street.
The captain said with a short message: "Thank you very much for all the support all season it's been incredible and we've got three trophies!"
His manager had told fans: "What a parade! We had to be the best parade with this rain or it is not Manchester! We don't want sunshine! We want rain! The perfect one!"
The parting message from the club read: "The event is closed, have a safe journey home."
City players all looked a tad worse for wear having flown from Istanbul to Ibiza for a 12-hour stopover.
Erling Haaland went shirtless during the celebrations as did Ruben Dias, with their 52-goal top scorer wringing out the water before hitting the stage.
A party for players and staff was also scheduled to take place after the celebration, with fans making their way home.
