Jack Grealish texted Jimmy Bullard 'I'm in a world of pain' after Man City parade
Jimmy Bullard has revealed the hilarious text message he received from Jack Grealish following Manchester City's treble-winning celebrations.
Man City beat Inter Milan to win the Champions League, completing a famous treble having won the Premier League and FA Cup.
A 'large group' of Man City stars jetted out to Ibiza to celebrate their European triumph before returning to Manchester for Monday's open-top bus parade.
Grealish looked worse for wear as he was pictured partying in his full kit the morning after their victory at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul.
He arrived for the club's trophy parade in typical fashion, with Erling Haaland pouring champagne over his head during an Instagram live.
The 27-year-old broke his silence by uploading an epic picture of himself during the parade, accompanied with the caption: "Hang it in the Loooouvre."
Ahead of Bullard's appearance on talkSPORT, he reached out to the Man City forward and revealed their brilliant conversation.
Bullard stated: "He texted back: 'Wow, I’m in a world of pain!'"
He added: "What a legend. I love the boy. I think he's unbelievable for English football."
Grealish played 50 games in all competitions this season as he enjoyed a superb individual campaign.
But he lamented his own performance during the Champions League final, giving an emotional take on his showing against Inter.
"I don’t know. This is just what you work for your whole life. I am so happy man," he said.
"I was awful today. I don’t care. To win the treble, with this group of players is so special. Anyone who knows me knows how much of a family person I am and how much I love football, and this is my whole life.
"You think of all the people who have helped you along the way and I saw my family in the crowd, and it just made me emotional."
