Foden's son, 4, racks up 1m Insta followers in 24 hours
After a cameo role in Manchester City's Treble celebrations, Phil Foden's son, Ronnie, has immediately amassed an Instagram following to make most others jealous
Manchester City have another star in the making after Ronnie Foden surged to fame in his Instagram debut.
The four-year-old son of Treble-winner Phil has won over legions of fans after starring in City's title celebrations. His appearance in the trophy procession has even earned him the nickname 'El Wey' - or 'The Dude' - among supporters.
And those same fans were eager to show their love for the little tyke on social media after he announced his digital debut in style. Just 14 hours after a photo of the two Fodens after this year's Champions League final win over Inter Milan was uploaded, Ronnie's account had already amassed one million followers.
The father-and-son pair can be seen in full City strips after the 1-0 win in Istanbul, which wrapped up Foden's - and City's - first treble.
"El wey has arrived," read the caption to the post, accompanied by a goat emoji (signifying 'Greatest Of All Time'). Ronnie's Story also included pictures of the pint-sized hit 'having the best time on holiday' as the Fodens revelled in Phil's latest successes.
"He'll probably end up having more followers than [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano Ronaldo] when he turns 18," wrote one of Ronnie's new subscribers.

"Bro about to get more followers than [Harry] Maguire," commented another City supporter, though Ronnie is still some way off matching the Manchester United defender's five million.
Presenter Natalie Pike responded to the post with a 'praising hands' emoji, while another fan joked Ronnie "has touched more trophies than Harry Kane".
It's not the first time City supporters have gushed over Foden Jr., who was also seen celebrating with star striker Erling Haaland in the wake of their Champions League win. Video showed Ronnie running up behind the Norwegian shouting 'Haaland' before telling the Norwegian he 'thought he was a girl' due to his flowing blonde locks.
Both father and son have since been seen making the most of their summer break with a family holiday. Ronnie's mum and Phil's long-term partner, Rebecca Cooke, could also be seen joining in the celebrations at the end of a long campaign.

Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury, Neymar and Raheem Sterling are fortunate to find themselves among the few names followed by Ronnie's account. Man United rivals Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho also featured on the list of elites.
Phil, 23, is very much one of Pep Guardiola's prized assets at the Etihad at present, but it may not be long until another Foden takes over as the family's main attraction.
