Fans think they've spotted what Jack Grealish said to Bernardo Silva during Man City's Treble celebrations
Jack Grealish was in fine form during Manchester City's victory parade on Monday evening but most significantly was a conversation with Bernardo Silva.
A year ago Grealish was mainly being noted for his random callout of Miguel Almiron as City celebrated winning their latest Premier League title.
At the beginning of the season it seemed to have backfired with the Newcastle United forward in form and Grealish not being able to crash City's first team.
By the end of the campaign however the England star was celebrating being a major part of City's Treble success, even if he didn't think he'd played well in the Champions League final.
Monday gave the former Aston Villa captain the perfect opportunity to make up for his needless call out during the latest trophy parade, something City are getting used to.
He more than made up for it admitting that he hadn't slept at all since being crowned a European champion and had a bottle of Champagne poured over him by Erling Haaland.
Most notable was his arrival to the celebrations on the Manchester Metrolink as he had to be helped off the tram by Ruben Dias.
The coverage from inside the met showed him talking to Bernardo Silva and fan believe he was begging the Portugal star to stay with the Premier League winners beyond the summer.
"He’s saying “please don’t go,” said one fan.
"This confirms his exit. It's going to hurt to lose Silva. The man has been everything and played everywhere but the gk for City," added a second very optimistic City fan.
"Jack saying what we’re all thinking," cried a third.
Coming to the realisation of what was going on, a fourth supporter commented: "F**k Bernardo’s actually leaving isn’t he."
Silva has been linked with a move away from the club in the transfer window with PSG considered his most likely destination since the departure of Lionel Messi.
