Danny Dyer was quick to congratulate his potential future son-in-law as West Ham sealed European glory.

David Moyes' Hammers lifted silverware for the first time in over four decades with a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final - England ace Jarrod Bowen clinching the win in the final minute of normal time.

Last lifting a major honour in 1980, following a 1-0 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup final, east Londoners were pictured partying long into the night, including West Ham supporter Dyer, who described the night as "F***ing perfect" on his Instagram page.

The Eastenders star is a massive fan of the London Stadium outfit but has had even closer ties to his boyhood club since daughter Dani started dating Hammers winger Bowen.

The ex-Love Islander announced her relationship with Bowen on The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan in late 2021 and the loved-up couple welcomed twin girls into the world weeks before West Ham's European showdown.

Star and Summer were snapped cheering on their superstar dad on Dani's Instagram pre-match. "Good luck to our daddy & jayjay tonight we love you," wrote Dani to her 3.7m followers posting a photo of the twins and son Santiago, Dani's first child with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence.

The three young kids were all ready to cheer on Bowen in their replica claret and blue shirts and, after the full-time whistle, Dani posted a close-up photo of Bowen's post-match interview to her story alongside the caption "so proud" a crying face emoji and three red love hearts.

"I obviously dreamed of scoring but to score the winner in the last minute," Bowen, who first had to prevent a Hammers fan from starting a rendition of his X-rated chant, told BT Sport. "It's what you always say you want to do. To do it in front of these fans. I thought I was going to cry. I'm just happy.

"We had a dream, we haven't had the best season, myself included, but to give these fans this moment, I'm over the moon. I think in my position you make that run 10 times you might get that ball once. As soon as you get it you've got to put it away.

"Never [have I felt like this in my life]. This is the biggest game of my career. The emotion, there was time for one more chance. I'm just so happy. I'm over the moon. I'm thinking of the party tonight. Listen to it. Listen."

The 2-1 victory confirms West Ham's participation in the Europa League next season, the Hammers joining Liverpool and Brighton in UEFA's second-tier competition.
