Danny Dyer admits he sings X-rated song about his daughter and Bowen
Danny Dyer has joked West Ham's X-rated chant about his daughter has 'a bit of romance' as he finally breaks his silence after the Hammers won the Europa Conference League
Danny Dyer has joked 'there's a bit of romance' in West Ham fan's x-rated chant about his daughter, Dani Dyer.
Dani, who earned fame through ITV's hit reality show Love Island, is the better half of Jarrod Bowen. The Englishman was the man of the moment on Wednesday evening as he secured West Ham their first European trophy since 1965, scoring the winner in their 2-1 victory over Fiorentina.
Hammers fans serenaded him with the chant of 'Bowen's on fire, and he's shagging Dani Dyer,' which has become something of a club anthem in recent times. And Dyer has finally broken his silence on the chant, when he was asked about the Hammers' celebrations.
Speaking ahead of Soccer Aid, Dyer said: "Well, I think there's a bit of romance in it... think about it!
"Alright, it's a compliment, they're saying Bowen is on fire, which is unreal! And he's also shagging Dani Dyer, so if you think about it, they're saying it couldn't get any better!
"So there's a compliment in it, sometimes I start the chant off, over West Ham, I can't lie." One fan joked: "Well played @MrDDyer at least you found the funny side and didn’t get the hump about it!"
“Sometimes I start the song off, I’m not gonna lie.”

"Na this is class been thinking about what big Danny thought about this," a second joked. While a third added: "That’s what you have to do as a dad, just embrace it!" Someone else added: "Proper west ham legend."
Dyer also revealed he wasn't in Prague for the final, as he had originally planned, after he was called up to play at Soccer Aid. Dyer is part of team England for the showpiece, where he will feature alongside Sir Mo Farah, Jack Wilshere, and Chunkz.
