Celtic fan spotted holding custom scarf with hilarious rude message at Scottish Cup final

A Celtic supporter showed off a hilarious custom scarf at the Scottish Cup final.

The neckwear was on display at Hampden Park as Ange Postecoglou led his side to a 3-1 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and Jota were the men on target as the curtain came down on yet another impressive campaign for the Bhoys, who claimed a fifth treble in seven seasons.

Defeating Glasgow rivals Rangers in the Scottish Cup final back in February, Celtic romped to the league title by seven points, falling just one point shy of a majestic century total.

Sweeping up every bit of silverware, the Bhoys have once again shown themselves to be the dominant force in Scottish football and one supporter couldn't help but aim a sly jibe in Inverness' direction during Saturday's showpiece fixture.

Holding up a bespoke scarf adorning the phrase: "Your team are p***," the supporter's taunt was proven to be accurate with Celtic sweeping aside their Scottish Championship opponents.

However, the set up at Parkhead is likely to look a lot different when the Scottish division restarts in August. Ange Postecoglou has emerged as the frontrunner for the vacant manager's position at Tottenham Hotspur with discussions now at an advanced stage.

The north London outfit sacked Antonio Conte at the end of March following his breakdown on the south coast - the Italian not mincing his words after Tottenham surrendered a two-goal lead in the final minutes against Southampton.

Postecoglou remained coy when quizzed on his immediate future after Saturday's cup final success. He said: "I understand all that but I am going to be a little bit selfish here because not just myself, my family, the people around me have all worked really hard to enjoy this moment.

"As disappointing as that may be for people that's what I'm going to do [enjoy it]. We've worked too hard as players, and managers that if I then start talking about things that aren't really important right now to me and those people around me...mate, I'm just enjoying this and I will enjoy it for as long as I can until people drag me away to talk about other things."
